start_bot()

async Client.start_bot()

Start a bot, optionally passing a deep linking parameter.

Usable by Users Bots

Parameters:

• chat_id (int | str) – Unique identifier (int) or username (str) of the bot you want to start.

• param (str, optional) – Text of the deep linking parameter (up to 64 characters). Defaults to “” (empty string), which sends a plain “/start”.

Returns:

Message | None – On success, the sent message is returned, otherwise, in case the server answered with no message, None is returned.
